Final Fantasy 14 revealed that the popular Fall Guys collaboration event would return to the game just days before the release of Patch 7.1, Crossroads. Final Fantasy 14 players will have two to three weeks to participate in different Fall Guys attractions at the Manderville Gold Saucer and earn exclusive cosmetic rewards.Initially revealed during the 2023 Las Vegas FanFest, the Fall Guys collaboration event in Final Fantasy 14 was included in Patch 6.51, one of the final updates of the Endwalker expansion. With five different attractions, and various glamours and housing items to collect, the Fall Guys event initially ran from October 31 to December 31, 2023. The event returned from May 23 to June 10, 2024, just weeks before Dawntrail entered early access. However, the Fall Guys collaboration in Final Fantasy 14 was marred by collision detection and latency issues in Patch 6.51, which cost some players a chance at winning a game. It remains to be seen if any changes have been made in response to player feedback. Related Final Fantasy 14's Halloween Event Is Back With New Rewards Final Fantasy 14’s Halloween-inspired All Saints’ Wake event returns with two new rewards for players to add to their cosmetic collections.2 But, Final Fantasy 14 players who missed out on the first two rounds of the Fall Guys collaboration event will have another chance. According to Square Enix, the event begins on Wednesday, October 23, at 4:00 AM Eastern, and will last until the release of Patch 7.1 in mid-November. Ergo, players will have under three to four weeks to earn Mandervile Gold Saucer Fame (MGF) points. These points can be redeemed for rewards such as the Gentlebean glamour set, Winner’s Crowns, the Rhiyes mount, and various Blunderville housing items. MGF points can only be earned while the Fall Guys event is active, but any points that are left over will be saved for the next iteration. Fall Guys Event Returns to Final Fantasy 14 Ahead of 7.1 Update Close The Fall Guys collaboration event returns to Final Fantasy 14 for a third run. Fall Guys will be available starting October 23 until the launch of Patch 7.1. Fall Guys will run alongside All Saints’ Wake and the Moogle Treasure Trove events. No new rewards were added for this version of the Fall Guys event. Square Enix stated that the event is similar to previous Fall Guys collaborations, meaning no new rewards exclusive to this event window will be added. Level 15 players who complete the quest “It Could Happen to You” can unlock the Blunderdome portion of the Gold Saucer via the quest “Just Crowning Around” by speaking to an NPC named Lewena in the Saucer’s main lobby. The Fall Guys collaboration will run alongside two other events in Final Fantasy 14leading up to the 7.1 Crossroads update. Final Fantasy 14’s take on Halloween, dubbed All Saints’ Wake, and the Moogle Treasure Trove event will run throughout the rest of October and into early November. Between those events, and the return of Fall Guys, Final Fantasy 14 players will have three limited-time events to experience before the next major patch goes live in mid-November.
