Since the hugely popular Shipment in Call of Duty 4, many Call of Duty games have featured especially small maps that have become fan favorites. Modern Warfare 2 had Rust, and the original Black Ops game in 2010 had Nuketown.One of the most popular Call of Duty maps of all time, Nuketown has returned multiple times since its debut in Black Ops 1. A version called Nuketown 2025 was featured in Black Ops 2, with a Zombies mode variant eventually added as well. Black Ops 3 showcased a futuristic twist on Nuketown, while Black Ops 4 and Black Ops Cold War also had their own take on the iconic map. Now, 14 years later, the original Nuketown is finally making a comeback.
