From the controversial Sleeper Agent field upgrade to inconsistent spawn points, fans had plenty to say about Black Ops 6. One of the many pieces of feedback given to Treyarch from players was in regards to the game’s Skyline map, as many believed its center point was far too open, which was leading to issues when capturing the B flag. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Making Big Change to Skyline Map After the beta had come to an end, plenty of Call of Duty fans came up with ways to improve Black Ops 6’s Skyline map, and Treyarch has now revealed what changes will be implemented at launch. While the map’s massive glass pane doors and windows are still perfectly intact, a new blog post reveals that the map’s center now has a sub-level next to the hot tub, giving players slightly more cover when capturing the B flag. While the change wasn’t directly addressed by Treyarch in the blog post, it was quickly picked up by eagle-eyed players on social media. This improvement is just one of the many changes being made to Black Ops 6, but fans still aren’t exactly thrilled about the map’s center point. Over on Reddit, user Limp-Grapefruit-6251 says the change is “better than nothing” but believes the pool area is still “way too open.” Like many others, the user believes some of the giant glass panes should be switched out for actual walls, but not everybody is disgruntled by the change. Reddit user ProblemGamer18 said it is “such a great change” and “very much needed,” while Puzzled-Ninja-9934 called the change “great.” Skyline is just one of the 12 brand-new Core 6v6 maps coming to Black Ops 6 at launch, along with four brand-new Strike maps. Treyarch says that all of the game’s launch maps are small to medium-sized, with each map having a traditional three-lane route and have been “meticulously” designed to fully realize the signature Call of Duty: Black Ops experience. Close Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is now just days away from launch, with the highly-anticipated shooter set to release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on October 25. For fans eager to jump in, Activision has confirmed that pre-loading for all supported platforms will begin on October 21 at 9 AM PT.
