Blizzard has rolled out a new hotfix for Diablo 4’s latest expansion, Vessel of Hatred, addressing several issues related to Infernal Hordes chests and Kurast Undercity rewards. This update aims to improve the overall gameplay experience and fix some of the remaining bugs players can encounter, about a week after the official release of Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred.Vessel of Hatred is the first major expansion for Diablo 4, continuing the story of Neyrelle and setting the fate of Sanctuary. On top of featuring new quests, dungeons, and endgame activities, this new expansion introduced a new playable class, the Spiritborn, with abilities inherited from ancient jungle warriors. Vessel of Hatred also added a brand new zone for players to explore, the jungles of Nahantu. This new content caused Diablo 4 to blow up on Steam, with the game setting a new record of 55,561 active players on the platform following the release of its expansion. Related Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred Solves One Half of The 'Dungeon Crawler' Equation Diablo 4’s Vessel of Hatred expansion fixes a dungeon-crawling issue from the base game, but the bigger problem is far from solved. Blizzard released a new hotfix for Diablo 4, addressing specific issues in Vessel of Hatred. The update fixes bugs related to Infernal Hordes rewards and glitches in the new Kurast Undercity dungeon. Players encountered various glitches in Diablo 4’s Infernal Hordes, with chests disappearing and reappearing randomly, while some players managed to continuously use these chests by picking up small amounts of Aether. Both materials and gold chests are now only operable once. Players also reported an issue when running Kurast Undercity, where rewards could be enhanced without consuming a Tribute by dropping it before a party member accepts the vote. With Infernal Hordes, players face off against waves of enemies in hopes of looting better gear and rewards. Kurast Undercity is a new Diablo 4 dungeon introduced with the release of Vessel of Hatred, filled with dangerous enemies and powerful items for players to reap.
